The feature documentary film about Ben Barnes, who was a rising rock star in late 90s. His band Deadweight produced its first demo (1994) in collaboration with Jason Newsted of Metallica. The band opened for Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade and the third album, was released on Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles label. Deadweight were winners of the SF Weekly's 1998 Wammy award for the category of "Beyond”. Unfortunately, at some point Ben Barnes started to loose his battle to severe bipolar disorder that left him broke and homeless. One thing that kept him alive and let him come back again and again from every breakdown was his obsession with violin.

After losing his wife, Ben needs to get his life and relationship with his daughter back on track.
